Why Do I Do It For Angel McCoughtry (AngelM35_News)

Where do I start? Angel McCoughtry, or as we now call her-- "The Divine Intervention", or "D.I." is of course, my favorite women's basketball player. But, it much more than that. Angel is a great person that always has time for her fans and the WNBA Movement. After the movement page was launched, she tweeted to the original owner almost immediately. She loves any type of support that you can give her and is very appreciative of what we are doing with the movement altogether.

Angel has taken big steps to achieve the success she has now in the sport. She almost quit the game of hoops back in high school because she said that she just wasn't "good at at". Her mother, Sharon McCoughtry encouraged her to keep practicing and not to give up. Her father, Roi McCoughtry supported her decision to move down south to improve her grades to attend a Division I progam, which she did at the University of Louisville. Angel says that the SAT test was tough for her and has started the Angel McCoughtry Foundation to help young women that have problems with taking the exam.

Angel's success is continuing in the WNBA for the Atlanta Dream and beyond. We here at the WNBA Movement and Angel35Fans.com fanpage are teaming up with Angel and Roi McCoughtry to spread the word about the Angel McCoughtry Foundation and to start a local booster club for Angel McCoughtry fans all over! Why do I do it for Angel? Because she's a winner and thats what the WNBA Movement is about--supporting winners in the WNBA!
