Well i am a big time Phoenix Mercury fan and DeWanna is a fun player to watch on the court. She is tall and thin, but she is fearless. Her energy is contagious and when she comes off the bench, she gets everyone excited because of it and they know what she can do, whether she's diving through the paint to get to the basket, a nice pass to a teammate or she's knocking down a three pointer, which i must add are pretty amazing to watch as well.
I wanted to make the page because i think she's an awesome player, and i want to get people aware of what she can do on the court, she might not be a starter, but she goes out there and does whatever her teammates need, she can go out there and pretty much do it all. She just finished her 2nd. season in the WNBA and has won the 6th woman of the year award both years, i don't think anyone has done that before. I love how fearless she is when driving to the basket, she's not afraid, i mean she sustained a concussion during one of those drives last season, that's what i call dedication.
I love that even though she's not a starter, she goes out there with the mentality of a starter and goes all out really gives 110 percent. She also has a great personality, i love the grandma videos she does with teammate Tangela Smith, if you haven't seen them you should defiantly check them out. She's gonna be a future All-Star i know it. And i'm honored to be along for the ride not only as a fan, but with the page as well.
